The purpose for which this club has been organized is to encourage, promote and support sportsmanship, good citizenship, fair play. To stimulate the best interests of Wrestling and to foster and assist in the emotional, academic, physical well-being and growth of the scholar athlete in the Warren Hills sending district. This shall include Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and College Wrestling Programs.
We strongly encourage Parents and Guardians of all our Wrestlers to participate in supporting the Warren Hills Wrestling Club. We are always in need of volunteers to help with our special events. We hope you will join us at our Monthly meetings. Watch your email for Date/Time/Place (normally 2nd Tuesday of the Month 7pm).

June 12th at Hunterdon Central Field House, Our High School aged Wrestlers (including incoming Freshman) will be wrestling in a Duals Format. Any interested in being on the dual team for this event or potential others should contact Jarrett Hosbach (click here)
-Past News-
Congratulations to Max Nauta on his 3rd place finish at The War At The Shore held at the Wildwood Convention Center. Max lost his 1st match of the event then won 8 consecutive matches to claim his 3rd place award.
Congratualations to Max Nauta on his 3rd place finish at the NJ kids states in Moorestown. Max lost to the eventual champ in his semi-final bout 3-2 and went 5-1 on the day.
Another weekend has been put in the books! Warren Hills Blue Streaks send 3 to AC to compete in an unbelievably talented State Tournament Matt Schuebel and Matt Artigliere were very respectable in their bouts and fell just short of the medal round. Jon Slack represented the Team and his School with the greatest of sportsmanship and deternmination to wrestle back from a loss to the eventual champ to claim a bronze metal at this years NJSIAA High School Wrestling Championship. Congratulations to Jon and his family!
2 Blue Streaks claim Region crowns...Matt Schuebel (130), Jon Slack (285) won their finals matches and Matt Artigliere (160) was runner-up. Anthony Gaito earned 4th.
Lots of news from this past weekend...Warren Hills Blue Streaks crown 3 District Champs...Matt Schuebel (130), Matt Artigliere (160) and Kyle O'Donnell (215). Runners up...Anthony Gaito (140), Jon Slack (285). Consolation Finals winner...K C Wannamaker. These boys will now advance to Regional competition beginning this Tuesday (feb. 23) at Wallkill Valley HS.
Also, the Washington-Y continued their journey of a perfect season by defeating Long Valley in the semi finals of the NWJMWL top 6 team tournament and then confirming they are #1 by winning in a convincing fashion against the Flemington Elks in the Finals!
Last weekend...The Warren Hills Middle School Team traveled to North Hunterdon High School to partisipate in the NJGSWL varsity tournament.

Wow! The Washington-Y Wrestling team (13-0) has for the 2nd straight year earned the title of "Regular season League Champions". This was settled last night at the Hunterdon Central Fieldhouse against a much respected and well trained Flemington Elks team. The Y has accomplished a great deal in recent years and continues to build on a longstanding tradition of good sportsmanship and competitiveness. The team will travel to West Morris Central HS on 2/20 for the "Team Playoffs" and then to Phillipsburg HS on 2/27 for the "Individual tournament".
Congrats to Anthony Gaito on winning the 1st annual Hunterdon, Warren, Sussex Tournament this past Saturday!
Also, congratulations to the Warren Hills MS team on their wins over Kittatinny and High Point on Saturday as well. The team finished the regular season 14-1 and will move on to the team play-offs next Saturday February 6th.
And the good news does not stop there-the Washington-Y (K-6) team beat Blairstown to boost their record to 11-0. They will be at Home on February 7th against Notre Dame and will finish the regular season on Tuesday the 9th against Flemington.

Congratulations! to all our Junior and Intermediate wrestlers who had quallified to wrestle at the NJ Kids States on Saturday and Sunday at the Dunn Center in Elizabeth, NJ.
The following wrestlers in addition advanced to the medal round where they represented the program in a way we could all be proud of.

Congratulations to our Novice (formally midget) and Bantam wrestlers who qualified for and competed in the NJ Kids States at Union High School on March 21st and 22nd. Kyle, Matt and Carsen wrestled very well and were all top 16 (in the state) in their weight classes. The following wrestler also advanced to the medal round.
